Fleetwood on the Fylde Coast

On the main esplanade, near the Royal Lifeboat station is a memorial and trail dedicated to those brave men who lost their lives at see.
You can also see parts of Morecambe Bay across the River Wyre where it meets the Irish Sea, notorious for it’s fast moving tides, beautiful coastline.
For the more discerning traveller, Car Ferries run from Fleetwood to Larne (Ireland) on a regular basis with the journey taking approximately 8 hours each way.
